24 years old patient with poorly developed breasts. She wanted a natural look but yet considerably more volume and cleavage.
Fat transfer breast augmentation was discussed but it was clear that a minimum of two or possibly more sessions would be required to fulfil the patient’s volume requirements.
In these cases the combination of silicone implants with fat is a very nice option to have the best of two approaches. In this case we combined submuscular (dual-plane) breast augmentation with round Natrelle implants together with approx 50 cc of micro fat grafting into the cleavage area.
The fat grafts are introduced using extremely fine cannulas. In cases of supercharged breast augmentation, placement is into the subcutaneous layer (the breast gland directly is never injected).
Aesthetic outcomes of this combination technique tend to be excellent. Additional fat grafting helps to create a pronounced but yet smooth cleavage. Feeling is extremely natural since the implants are protected by an additional layer of soft tissue.
