This is an excellent case to demonstrate the potential of micro-fatgrafting to the face.
The patient underwent liposculpture of the love handle /abdominal area and wanted to make possible use of her fat. About 60 % of our liposuction patients opt to have the extracted fat used elsewhere, depending on the case buttocks, breast augmentation or face. This is very convenient when using Water-Jetstream assisted lipsculpture (BodyJet EVO-system), which can easily be connected to a so called lipocollector, a filter system which produces excellent quality fat grafts. Since loss of volume in the cheek area is one of the prime signs of facial aging, results of facial fat grafting tend to be very gratifying. This technique enables us to achieve excellent rejuvenation effects without scars.
