Brazilian butt lift has become one of the most popular surgeries in our practice over the last years. It is a nice surgery for nearly all patients, since reshifting of fat deposits benefits nearly everybody.
Brazilian butt lift can be an extremely challenging surgery in rather thin patients, since the availability of fat is one of the most important preconditions to Brazilian butt lift surgery. The case shown here was extremely challenging for us. The patient hardly had any fat deposits.
We used fan shape fat harvesting with thin cannulas attached to BodyJet EVO system on the abdomen, flanks and buttocks as well as the back. Using this technique, we were able to extract close to 1000cc of fat out of an extremely thin patient, which is somewhat difficult. The cell purification process finally left us with 400cc of pure, excellent quality graft per side, which is a very good amount for a thin patient like this. An excellent result was achieved under these somewhat complex preconditions.
