Our winner case of the month April 2016 is a very challenging case of male liposuction.
The patient in question was over 60 years of age with a significant amount of saggy skin.
Males are sometimes difficult to treat since most of their abdominal fat is stored inside the abdominal cavity, where it cannot be reached safely with any cannula.
The impact of surgical liposuction is limited to the superficial subcutaneous fat deposits.
In this case, we worked using a combination approach with HidroJet and BidyTite skin retractor. A very nice result was achieved with this technique, and this makes it our case of the month April 2016.
This was a solution for a complicated case. In more straightforward cases, where skin laxity is not a problem, we usually prefer Coolsculpting non-surgical liposuction
