34 years old patient with exaggerated fat deposits on her flanks.
This is an excellent example for a so called “secondary” butt lift, this means in this case the patient did primarily approach us requesting liposuction, and buttock enhancement was only a secondary concern.
During the consultation we pointed out to her that it may be a wise move to not only remove the fat from the love handles which was bothering her, but use the fat removed to sculpt, tighten and lift the buttocks. The aesthetic improvement that was achieved was impressive. The amount of fat transferred to her buttocks was not very big (400cc) but together with the fat reduction of her waistline, changed her into a much more latina-style shape. The waistline appears more defined if one adds additional graft to the lateral buttock.
This case demonstrates that one does not necessarily need very large fat transfer amounts for a representative result, but a well planned addition subtraction does an equal effect.
